- PERIODIC COMET TSUCHINSHAN 1 (1991c1)
- S. Nakano, Sumoto, Japan, reports the recovery of this comet by
- T. Seki with the 0.60-m reflector at Geisei. The comet has a tail
- 30" long in p.a. 300 deg and is diffuse with central condensation.
- Seki's observations yield a correction to the prediction on MPC
- 13057 of Delta(T) about +0.02 day:

- COMET 1991b1
- E. Helin, Jet Propulsion Laboratory, reports the following mea-
- surements (beginning and end points of the trailed images) by P.
- Rose of pre-discovery images of this comet, from films taken by her-
- self, K. Lawrence, and Rose with the 0.46-m Schmidt telescope at
- Palomar:

- Total visual magnitude estimate by C. S. Morris, Pine Mountain
- Club, CA (0.26-m reflector): Nov. 12.21 UT, 10.7 (coma diameter 6').

- 1991 VA
- D. Rabinowitz, Lunar and Planetary Laboratory, reports his dis-
- covery, using the 0.91-m Spacewatch telescope at Kitt Peak, of a
- faint Apollo object. From observations by Rabinowitz and J. V.
- Scotti during Nov. 1-6 B. G. Marsden, Harvard-Smithsonian Center for
- Astrophysics, has determined T = 1991 Sept. 23.37 ET, Peri. = 313.50,
- Node = 37.00, i = 6.50 (equinox 1950.0), q = 0.9259 AU, e = 0.3507,
- H = 27.0.
